Oh wow.
I have neglected this blog for far too long.
So first things first.
The house check went well and I ended up getting my puppy December 11, 2013.
A looonnnggg time ago. Yet sometimes it feels like only yesterday that we got the call that a male Black Labrador named Barney was available, if we were interested. (Is that even a question?)
I was ecstatic to say the least. (I was jumping up and down.)
Now, to be honest I was not to happy with the name Barney, but the fact that I was even getting a guide dog puppy kinda overshadowed that fact.
I'm going to stop talking now and give you guys some pictures.

Barney is doing great on most things. He is a bit goofey (by "a bit" I mean "A LOT!") but when it comes down to it he is very obedient.
He does wonderful in public and has for the most part gotten over his "people distraction". He was crazy as a puppy, always trying to pull and jump on people. So that is a HUGE improvement.
As things progress I will be sure to post more.
